I am a certified equine sports therapist serving the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada with 15 years experience. Horses and animals have always been a part of my path. I started riding in my early teens, bought my first horse at the age of 21 and still have that horse to this day, along with one other. I started my professional career in the horse world in 2013, graduating from the BC College of Equine Sports Therapy, www.equinetherapy.ca. Prior to this I completed a Bachelor of Science from SFU. The equine program sparked a journey into my own healing, with the guidance of the horses, which brought forward my inherent gifts and intuitive skills. This led me to the offerings I now share with the world through equine and canine body work and intuitive listening sessions. Horses give us so much, and to be able to give back to them in this way, fills my heart.

My journey has been one that I would call the journey into the heart. This path has not been straight, but the heart always knows, and many lessons and beautiful experiences have come from it. A few parts of my journey that have really instilled a foundation for the work that I do are as follows.
- The power of the mind and it’s ability to repress memory and emotion, until it is safe enough to process and heal. The upmost importance of listening to what can be unraveled and processed, in exactly the right path. The nervous system can only handle so much at once, there are so many layers to healing.
- Connection to and opening of the heart space. So many of us, including myself, go through moments in life where we choose to close our heart space off in order to protect ourselves. The journey of uncovering what lies beneath and unveiling the beauty of the heart space that lies within us all is why we are here.
- Experience with upper cervical, vestibular imbalance and burnout
- The effect of energetic connections to others (especially of the 4 legged variety) and how we can work together
- Learning and healing from the wisdom of the horse – they have taught me so much and assisted in revelling so many pieces within myself
- The profound effect that our emotions and energetic imbalances have on our physical body. So much of our physical ailments stem from unprocessed emotion.

Lauren is a graduate of our program offered by B.C. College of Equine Therapy. Lauren was an amazing addition to our class and our program. Through her two year class commitment, it became obvious she also brought several natural gifts with her. As the founder and principal, my wish has always been that students would blend the information and techniques with their natural abilities and previous learning to create something wonderful. Lauren has exceeded my expectations and continues learning after graduation. We have used Lauren’s services ourselves. It is wonderful as a teacher to respect a graduates abilities enough to have the tables turn and have them help me. I would certainly recommend Lauren as a person and a practitioner.

I have been involved with horses most of my life. I spent many years focusing on jumping, as well as learning from other disciplines. I love learning from and embracing different avenues of thought, as it gives me the opportunity to incorporate that into who I am and what I do. My own path of healing and circumstances with my horses led me to slow down and spend more time meditating with them. The amount of growth that came out of this time, has been immeasurable. I highly recommended opening yourself up to the idea that the horse has many things to teach you and show you. Any time spent with horses, is never time wasted!
